#23Hi All, I have a 2007 SD and it’s a fantastic machine, had loads of bikes and this is one of the best all rounders I have ever had. I live and work in Saudi for my sins, no okay for the money!!
Friday mornings here is Bike day when the locals are all in bed and the roads are quiet, or it’s a trip over the Causeway to Bahrain to the F1 track for the CRC sprint racing events or the monthly track days.
Found this site by luck when browsing the Bracken site for information, so glad I did as very impressed with some of the great information and write up’s you guys have done! Hope to contribute a bit as well.

#49Having ridden Suzi's for the last 6years I took delivery of an 08plate SD last Tuesday.....Awesome! However it is VERY bog standard and will need stuff chucking at it over the coming months...hence why I've joined the site. I'm looking forward to chatting bikes n bollocks and getting my SD sorted!!!

#53Yeah I hope that wallet has well oiled hinges as there are some lovely mods that can be done. Motohooligan's Motobox should be up there as a good place to start, along with some nice cans. Add a TuneECU cable and you've just freed the beast that is the Super Duke

I'm also new to this forum, so I introduce a little bit about my self. I live in southern Finland.. I have owned SuperDuke for 2,5 years for now.. done 52 000 km's on it. This year mostly on track days.. and only 8000 km's on this season (including the track days).
Like the bike very much and will probably keep it for quite long time. But that's all about me

I dont actualy own a superduke yet but will do. Im waiting for the new one to come out. After test riding a standard SD i decided i had to have one and well i found out that the new one is an SDR model with pillion seat so im waiting for that bad boy.
Will ofcourse have to have akras fitted
Im from the midlands and currently bikeless. Rode KTMs since i was 17 on and off the road.

BTW get a test ride on the SDR first - some peeps reckon they are too harsh and lose usability over the SD

Jon the only version they are making for next year is the SDR, looks like they have dulled it down abit as it is putting out less power than the 2011 one. I'll change that though with the essential mods im having done to it.
Ive seen loads of reports about people not getting on with the SD let alone the SDR but i couldnt see what all the fuss was about. Admitedly all i have ever rode properly is singles, my last bike was a 525 supermoto which i am breaking.
Next year i am also building a top spec supermoto with a 560 engine tuned by STC. Even have the 52mm WP factory forks I'll be doing a full write up on the build along with plenty of pics
