Well, been riding since a teenager. My last bike was a LC4 Adventure, I rode that down Africa which was awesome. Its easier than it looks, so just do it if you ever get the chance. You don't need a big bike and stay away from all the aftermarket crap which is just more stuff to break... Just start and before you know you're there.
