I just bought a black 05 model last week and it's great. I like the torque and the handling, two things I've never really experienced on the same bike before.
It has a few of the common SD issues - starter clutch clacking noise (only occurred on one occasion so far), oil leak near the side stand - but these will give me an opportunity to get my hands dirty and learn a few things about the bike
My other bikes include a 99 Kawasaki ZRX1100, 1983 Yamaha SR500, 1986 Harley XL1100, 1994 Suzuki VX800
