Hi from the USA. I hope this bike doesn't suck!

Bald Kirk here from the USA.

It has been years since I have been this excited about a bike.

Put my deposit down 6 months ago and hope to get my SD this Friday.

I was a service manager in this biz for over 10 years and got to ride everyting. Managed not to wack myself.

Right off the bat I will but on Dunlop Qualifiers and dial the suspenders in on some back roads near my house.

Next I am putting on all my electric gear and riding for 3 or 4 days. (My wife is the greatest!)

I own a 2006 Kaw Z1000 that I bought to get me thru while I wait for the real deal. I also ride a CR250 in the dirt where I enjoy crashing alot with the boys.

Like I said in my intro, I hope this bike doesn't suck!

I'm pretty sure it won't.

What about Michelins 2CT's...but I know tyres are all personal choice.

What color are you getting, I have a deposit down on black (although I am not really a fan of all black bikes). Titanium was very tempting, but (to me) in the pics, it looked a little more plastic'ly

Your dealer should be able to tell from the inventory reports they get from KTM what products are on the way to them.

I went into my dealership today to pick up a inner tube for my dirt bike and was told my bike had arrived a couple of hours earlier. I picked up my new bike this afternoon.

I got the orange and black. Originally I was going to get the black but this color grew on me.

As for the Michelins I have never ridden on them. I was however very happy to see that my SD came with the Dunlop 208 RR. I have ridden with D207, D208 and the Qualifiers but never the 208 RR so I will see how they feel. I'm sure they'll be great.
