Just picked up my "new to me" 2007 SD in black! All of my previous riding experience has been on a big, shiny V-twin. This is certainly a different animal. I feel like I'm starting all over. Can't wait to get some more seat time under my belt. I have to admit she is a little intimdating- slight slip of the wrist and she feels like she was shot from a cannon. Look forward to meeting everyone and soaking up all the knowledge contained within the sight.

Prestine condition, came equipped with the full Akropovic Titanium exhaust, Moto hooligan Air Box, PCIII and only 501 miles on the clock!
Welcome mate!
welcome in and nice find
Welcome bro...
I too came from another v twin...Doesn't take long..you will be glad you switched..!!!
Welcome

Great find...all the right bits ......nice one

2007 ...501 miles....it cant be that fast
Welcome! Where are abouts are you? I'm near Kings Dominion and work in Woodbridge.
Christiansburg- about 25 miles SW of Roanoke. I'm new to the state, just got stationed here in December. Its quite beautiful and the people are friendly ...we're impressed so far.
Cool, that's a beautiful area down there. The gf and I will be passing through next weekend. We're hitting Deals Gap on Thursday, the Snake on Friday, and the Back of the Dragon in Marion, VA on Saturday. Planning to stay with friends in Roanoke on Saturday night and a leisurely return home Sunday. I think Marion is about two hours from Roanoke if you want to meet us down there.
Thanks for invite HB, to be honest I don't think I'm ready for the dragon just yet...I want to get a little more intimate with this beast first. Deals Gap is definitely on my bucket list for next summer. If you guys find yourselves around my parts your welcome to stop by for a cold beverage. EGS
The BOTD in Marion is not the "Dragon", just a sweet road from Marion to Tazewell that I think is twice as long. It's within range of you for a day ride and should be much more low key than the Dragon. That road turns into madness on the weekends with all the tourists and motorcycle groups visiting. Too many people to enjoy the road cause of all the Hardley's and stupid cars putt putting along.
Welcome in! Awesome find! Be careful & have FUN!
Where in VA? I'm in Stafford VA .....let's hook up and straighten out some twisties! I have a Black/Carbon 2007 also. I've only ever seen 1 other in my area driving down US RT1. Anywhere I take mine people come up and say "...dude, thats a bad ass bike, what is it?" I say "KTM 990 Superduke" Them: " Cool...who makes it?" Me: "KTM", moron...haha. It always attracts a crowd at the local Starbucks.
Hi Welcome in. That "being shot out of a cannon" thing is a real problem. Once you've had it and try other bikes they always feel a bit Ho Hum!!
Enjoy.
