I've been a lurker for over a year now since owning my 990.
I have used this site frequently and must say thank you to you all for taking time and sharing knowledge and how to's.
Ive benefitted lots from the advice on here, helping me understand my bike more.

I've finally joined as I have a question which after searching... I can't find the answer for....now where to post said question!

Also is anyone finding the 990 content being drowned out by the 1290?

Any technical questions just post in the technical section.
Don't think the 990 is been pushed aside, just that most (if not all) 990 questions have been answered (over and over again ) .
So search can be a great help.
Anything else just ask!

Which part of Manchester are you from?
There's plenty of useful information to be picked up from here, you just need to grow a thick skin if you like to ask questions!
A few 990's around in the northwest but I've still not seen a 1290 in the flesh...

Welcome to a great forum. I loved my 990s and now love the 1290. Both are great bikes in my opinion. Sure you'll have a ball with yours and if you ever head up to Scotland, God's country as far as biking roads go, give us a shout!
