Hi Everybody,
52 year old lifetime rider from Austin, Texas checking in!
I just traded in my Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200 for a new 2017 SDR. I own several other vintage Italian bikes, but always like to keep a new-ish fun bike to hoon around on. Due to a bad case of bronchitis, I have only put a handful of miles on the bike so far, but I'm really looking forward to getting to know this bike.
I got the track pack and the perf pack, because why the fook not??!!
No mods yet, but I have a tail tidy on order. I'm going to clean up the tail, and just ride it and enjoy it for a while. I'm trying to resist the urge to tinker too much with this bike. I kind of like the idea of having a Stealth Fighter....why let the law know I'm coming? I'm not sure that I can resist the siren song of the full Akro exhaust, but I'm going to try for a little while at least....at least until Fathers Day. wait, thats next weekend!
I'll post up a picture as soon as I tidy up the tail. Looking forward to getting to know some of you guys. Cheers!
