Let's try this again, shall we?

I introduced myself a couple weeks back but I understand that "spam" was a possible reason for the deleting of my original thread.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Like I had said in my first thread, the superduke has been my dream bike since Europe got theirs a few seasons back. I really wanted to pick up one of the "grey" market versions that a dealer or two brought in 2005. I reluctantly decided I would wait until KTM felt that the USA was priveledged enough for the SD.

I got to ride one at KTM dealer meeting in Portland this past August and I was in fear that the bike wouldnt be as good as I had set my heart on it to be. Boy, was I ever wrong. It was as good and better than I could have imagined!

Well, here it is 2007 and the US now has them for purchase and I officially own an orange one!

I have not had a whole lot of time(busy schedule) to get out and see what this lil' bad boy can do, but I did take it out for the local coffee meet that we have every sunday morn.

Snapped a couple of pics for nostalgic purposes. (see below)

Like I mentioned in my old thread, as soon as I get a good day out on it for more than 15 miles here, 30 miles there, I will give a ride report.

I have already been given a lot of good advice. Always looking for more.

I will also begin the "customizing" process here shortly. Little tweaks and things that make my SD genuinely, MINE!
When I do, I will be sure to post up pics.
