Longtime KTM owner, first time SD owner

hello there fellow riders….

Been riding since my steel fendered Elsinore days and been on KTMs for a couple decades… BUT, never owned a SD until four days ago.

Brought my 1290 "black" home and haven't been off it since. ready for first service…

Well aware of the little quirks and just traded in my 1190R for the SD so familiar with the electronic farkles.

I must say the bike is quite possibly the most solid bike I've ever thrown a leg over.

i live a few miles from a local track so it will see some time there as well as daily commuting.

look forward to the discussions.

oh yeah, I have slop in the rear hub. Will see how much when it goes in for 1st service.

Welcome Oldfuddy, If you're in the U.S., please let us know what your dealer says/does about your rear hub "slop" on your brand new SDR. I haven't heard of anyone in the U.S. getting their SDR's fixed by KTM other than retightening a couple of nuts.
