New 990R owner in Los Angeles, CA

Hi folks! Just picked up my 990R today (cold, wet, rainy, and 100 miles away.... isn't this always fun?!?!). Fell in love with it as soon as I saw it en vivo. Was looking at Speed Triples and Tuonos to supplement my Aprilia Mille Factory, but then this thing popped up.. and stole the show!

Holy hooligan bike, Batman! Now I can pretend to be like our UK Magazine brethren (from whom I had the whole Streetfighter thing etched into my brain--watching them pull "horn monos" on Speed Triples, all the while speaking funny English, really sold me on the whole "different/naked" thing... ).

So yeah, I'm 40, a professional, working downtown, commuting from 32.2 miles away, and acting like a fooking' kid... Gotta' love it...
