Been lurkin these forums for a min. learning the ways of the SD. Finally grew a pair and picked up my 08 SD two days ago. My previous bike was a Buell xb12r, and although it was a bike i thoroughly enjoyed i wanted everything it had and more. Ever since i threw my leg over the buell ive had a thirst for torque. My friends and fellow riders around my area pretty much stick to the big four jap bikes and i have always wanted something different to prove to them that inline isnt the only option. So already 200 miles since two days ago and i bought it with 800 miles on it, here she is. Might notice i have no mirrors on in this pic, i was in the process of changing em out for a bar end. I dont care for the big bug antennas although i did notice how well they worked. First additions in mind: obv. the mirrors and soon ill be taking care of the 2nd, 3rd, limiter ive read about as well as an aftermarket intake system the CPR model seems like the best bang for my buck. Yes i know, the sticker is still on the tank. But at least you dont see any reflectors
