New SD rider in Orange County, CA

Hi All!

Just picked up my orange 08 Superduke on the last day of 2011, and looking forward to getting some more time on the bike and doing some "fine tuning" to this super fun machine! I've already picked up some good ideas for projects from this forum as well as developed some, probably, bad ideas of my own. I'll try to keep interested parties up to date on both.

Thanks much! I've been railing around OC on my SV650S for a few years, but it is getting turned into a race bike. I decided the Superduke would make a great do it all street machine for the mountains and canyons around here and it has endless possibilities to be an even cooler bike, with the right touch.

My bike is BONE stock, for now. I purchased it as a leftover/demo bike from Bert's Mega Mall, in Covina, for a very reasonable price. It had 2K miles on it, but it was pristine! I'm excited about the possibilities of modding a completely stock ride to my tastes. I already have bars, exhaust, levers, some electrical chi chis and some sliders and whatnot on the way with lots of other plans already rattling around in my head.
