New to SuperDukes

Hi,

I've just bought a 2007 990 SuperDuke and in the absence of any full dealer support in Rep. of Ireland I expect I will be relying on members for support and answers to lots of queries I'm going to have.

In the past I've owned an NSR 125, Z650, FZR400, a '97 blade, an '02 blade, a Ducati 748SP, a CBR600RR, a BMW R1200GS and few Moto-X bikes and a TZ250. On balance, the SD is great - I should have bought one sooner.

Anyway, I look forward to interacting with you all on the forum.

I too don't really have any dealers around, have to drive 500km and spend around $125 just to get to the dealer.. I get a lot of useful help in here, and I also try and help out whenever I can

Welcome from another newbie to the brand. I have a dealer right around the corner from me, and it's a good shop. Unfortunately, he seems to charge about twice what other dealers in the area do for service. Oh well, perhaps it's just a matter of getting what you pay for (e.g. $150 for putting the Akra map on the bike).
