What's up!

Just purchased a 2008 SDR with 4000 miles on her. I haven't picked her up yet due to the weather. Looks like the only mods are throttle tamer and an aftermarket seat. I'll report my first impressions once I've thrown a leg over. Im happy to join the Super Duke club and plan on learning a lot from you folks.

Welcome, make sure you post up some pics when you get her! It's crazy how few miles some people put on their bikes!

Thanks for the warm welcome, gents. New guys are always "turds" in my opinion. I'll wear it like a badge of honor until I've been properly seasoned. Anyway, I won't bog you down with ridiculous questions that have been asked a million times before. I did plenty of research before buying the SDR. I can't believe that I scored one with only 4000 miles! She's more or less bone stock so don't expect any mind shattering pictures. I can't WAIT to bring her home. I'll be chatting with you folks later. Thanks again.

Yesterday I rode the SD for the first time in a long while. I have been riding horsepower challenged bikes and the SD kinda took a bit getting you's too.

Holy thread hijack! Personally I'd like to see more jabs and tasteless comments, but you're off to a good start.

Lousiville, Kentucky for the person who asked. I'm not a native but it's home just the same.

I had time to pick up my SDR today but the weather is still too nasty to ride. I can't wait to give her a go!

The institution I'm in has the best cherry jello you can imagine ! mmmmmmmm,,,,and,,,,,we go boating,,,tubeing,,,,the go cart park,,,museums,,,and all the nurses there are blondes ! ,,,,,,and believe it or not Tom Brady is comming for a visit this week bringing hats and tee's for everyone !

So is it too late to change my name to Turd? I'm starting to grow fond of it. Anyway, I finally got the SDR home but the weather here has been horrible. I still haven't put a single mile on her but I at least I get to drool over her in the garage. I'll post pics later this week, gents.
