Hello just joined after lurking for a couple months as just bought a late 2009 Superduke after coming from a gsxr750 which became no fun until imprissonable speeds so bought the sd to have more fun more of the time. I live in the south west of England so i will shout a virtual round of beers or babycham whichever you prefer.

#5Interesting you have had ktm's for a while, i minght have to meet up to pick your brains on what mods need doing but mainly what has been done on my bike. I am trying to work out if the oxygen sensors have been done as there are two white plugs under the seat that look like them as i want to sort the fuelling without forking out too much cash.

my old sm had carbs , my sdr is all standard apart from akros with no baffles . lots of posts here on the site about mods for the sd .
my sdr is a little snatchie at revs between 2 and 4 thou. light handed when going though town .

#7Mine came with Akros already on it so im assuming the correct map has been installed which removes the oxygen sensors from communicating with the ecu but i still dont think the bike pulls hard enough from less than 7000rpm. It is my first v-twin so might still be getting used to it but at this rate might have to trade it for a canoe.

#9If you have the dosh get the air box off, fit a Motohooligan or CPR Rottweiler airbox, whip out the 2nd flies which costs pence to do but smoothes throttle while freeing up more ponies. Get it tuned and will feel like you are on a different bike
