Hi all, from Thailand
I`ve been sitting here for a long time (when I`m not at work in Lao) reading with interest most of the posts. By far the best forum I have joined. great information about the SD`s. with none of the usual BS. About me, I`m an old fart from England. Started riding bikes when I was 12yrs old, my dad got me a BSA Bantam off roader so I could learn my bike skills before I got on the road. Now I`m 53yrs old, I`ve had many bikes, air cooled RD250, CB750K2, XS1100,GPZ1000,YZF1000EXUP, R1, GSXR1000K7, to name but a few, and now a very proud owner of a SD
The SD has Yoshimura 3/4 system, CPR Rottweiler Induction System with separate crankcase breather & catch tank, and PC111, plus the usual bits and pieces.
My SD has brutal addictive performance and sound, I just love it.....by far the best rider`s bike I have ever had.

Welcome.

I'm sort of your age too and started out on RD250's in the late '70s. (my first field bike was a Bantam too!)

I've ridden a lot of different bikes and ended up with my SD for the last six years. Best bike I ever owned really.

Enjoy.

Welcome. I'm one year older than you and I just bought a SDR. It's not too late for us.

I just watched the movie Hangover 2. Wow was that bad. I'd like to apologize to Thailand on behalf of the USA.

Welcome mate.

You all make me sound young... I'm 50...
it seems the SD is the real man's bike that brings the bad boy out, but we knew this...
