My name is Daz from Sydney in Oz (originally Newcastle - UK).. I been here in Oz for about 15 Years now & had Bikes for about last 10..
I have a 05 SD which I have tinkered around with a bit
I been lurking around this Forums for a few weeks & just trying to absorb all the amazing info you guys have put together
Caunt wait to do a few Mods & chat about it with you all..

here is what I done to my old girl :

PC-III
Throttle Bodies (Proline form UK) I think
Leo Vince cans (painted Black)
16T front
carmichael protaper's
WP front Dampener
BMC Air
ect, ect..

Bike goes quite good now in low revs , & Dare I say it ?? Too fast Top End Shame I caunt really get her out of 4th gear

I am in the process of painting her a nice glossy Black with some Blood Red Decals & coach lines..

only thing I want to do is slap a moto hooligan box on her

I was thinking of trying a different ration on the Sprocket's, to shorten the gears ?? (already got a 16T on front 38T on back)

She is starting to look her age, but she runs well & 26Klm's on her..

Hi guys..

so , any how .. I am just about to Order this Moto Hooligan Air Box Guys ..

I have read the walkthrough posted on here (many thanks) & it looks pretty straight forward, but may take me a bit longer (padantic fecker)

was wondering how I am gonna get around the "tunning" ? until I can get Her on the Dyno ??

I don't have any Bike Mechs with a Dyno near me.. As the closest reputable Mech is up at Hornsby (aboot 25K's)

as I stated earlier , I got the Dyno Jet PC III fitted , but with the Hooligan Air Box, I am not sure what its gonna Run like ? If at all

Any feedback guys ??

I just made a hook up at the Dyno , which is up at Hornsby.. I know the the Mechanic very well & he is gonna do spend a bit of time with my SD.. He is a great Guy & I have known him for many Years & he knows his stuff. He will tell me honestly what is running like & If any thing can be done ... At least I will know what the Bike is running like before I spend "more" $$$ on an Air Box

Get an air box on there mate it will make your world so much better.

just an update for ya all

poped a 41T on the back & am really happy with close gearing now & much less clutch slipping in Traffic.

Mechanic had a look at me Bike & said the PC-III on my Bike has NO O2 sensors:( & I need to buy some "O2 eliminator sensors" (about $90 ) before he gets her on the Dyno.. as the fuelling is all over the place with out the sensors

So, any one have any feedback on that plz ?

Bit the Bullet & placed the Order for the Moto Hooligan Air Box :D (got the Black version Kit with SAS plates & ect, ect)

not sure what to do with the Butterflies that come in this Kit ??

The cables are ok, most connect very well when the key is on and the engine not running. Some drop when the engine runs for a bit but there is a fix for that.

Tuneecu also has the diagnostic functions, in my opinion it is worth to get a cable yourself.

yes , very true ktmguy, I should get my own set of cables .. even If its just to check things over now & then

I can even have a play around with it once I am confident enough

is there any members who sell the 2 cables on here ?

I don't really wanna do the Evil Bay thing & end up with shonky cables like some Members have
