Shalom From Israel!

Hi guys,

Just thought to say hello or Shalom, as we say in Israel.

Got my 2007 SD about 3 weeks ago with 21000 Km's on it.
The bike's overall good though was standing for about two years prior to the last owner who was somewhat of misplace on the bike. It wasn't chicken strips, it was the entire hen house...

Bike was crap - great engine but everything else wrong... It wouldn't turn and when it did it was sh*t.
The front tyre was a 100 year old and cracked Pirelli which had the amount of grip you'd expect from a Durex condom.

So - got all the liquids changed, redone the front suspension and fitted a new set of Pirelli Rosso II which are great from my experience.
Suspension back to original set up and now the thing's started turning like it should!

So here it is just after I got it, still dirty:

And here is the garage in my parents' house this weekend, when I got the new Duke SF848 for a review (my dad's CB1000R in the background).

Nice eh?

Thanks for the welcome guys,

Rac - the pipe on the CB1000R indeed sounds awesome, not too loud but grunty(er) at low rpm and then smokin' cool when pulled

It made the throttle response much better - sharp and crisp.

Though, what should worry KTM is more the yellow SF in the middle then the mellow Honda

Not this specifically SF though, as I managed to trash it in it's youth...
