I just picked up a 2007 990 yesterday and gave it proper flogging today. It's completely different from what I'm used to. It's was faster with heaps more torque than I'm used to. I am in the process of finishing up a 1977 Yamaha XS750 with a swapped 850 engine and its over bored to a 900cc lump. I have learned a lot in the last four years with it, including some info on fuel injection. So now my bikes have a 30 year difference.
Here is the 990 (terrible pic but you should know what they look like)

The KTM is stock for the most part. It looks like someone added heated hand grips. I don't know much about this bike yet but will in a while. I like the fact that we can tap into the ecu and change it to suit any modifications. I'll make sure to do my research before I mess with anything. I have a 2007 service manual on the way so I can learn this beast thoroughly. It feels good to have another addiction.
