The Brisbane boy who ditched the Fireblade for the SD

Quite literally actually..
Little did I know that fateful day in the end of March when my Repsol Fireblade fell over the cliff between Mt Nebo and Mt Glorious that a few months later I would be on the fun machine of the century! I can see now that it was probably the best thing that happened to me for a while.

This was my second venture off track on that road but this time the tow truck had to drag it out and the insurance company write it off..

15 or so test rides later (including the Speed/Street Triple, new Fireblade and the B-King) I'm now a proud owner of a 07 Anthracite beauty less than 9 months old.. I picked it up this weekend in Wollongong and drove 1100km's back this weekend.

I'm in love! I'been looking for something special and I believe I've found it!
Even a ride to the video store is a ton of fun!

There's nothing more to it, this thing is an absolute hoot!

I my self have a Fireblade and know where you are coming from - you will not regret. This site is also a great place to hang around

Hi there and welcome Brizzy, hope you have many many safe and fun (well, the fun is pretty much inevitable ) miles on your new ride! Hope you were okay from your off...
I also came from a blade (05) - Didn't want to change so bad that I threw it off a cliff though, I just sold mine ...

Beware the crazies and wackos you've undoubtably seen already - Not only are they tolerated, but almost encouraged !

Welcome Brizzy!

My last bike before the SD was an 05 Repsol Fireblade as well.
Didn't think of running it off a cliff though - good one!
I much prefer the SD over the soulless blade.

Are you located North Brissie or South Brissie?
