07 model, is it really worth swapping when you have a 06?

Definitely not worth changing IMO.

Better fueling and the larger (and fat looking) tank are the only improvement worth mentioning. If you're not happy with it, the fueling on 05/06 bikes can be set spot-on with TuneBoy, Rapid Bike or PCommander so that only leaves the tank.

The 07 chassis has a milder setup to make the bike more accessible to John average. KTM speaks of modifications/improvements to the cylinder heads and throttle bodies. Fact is that 07 bikes make consistently less power than 05/06 bikes. And they weight a few KGs more too.

KTM rounded off the sharp edges of the SD on the 07 model and put more sharp edges on the bodywork instead.

I definitely prefer the hairier more bitch'n 05/06 model. Looks better too IMO.
