Hi All,
I'm kicking tyres on a new 07 SD. Just sold my 05 950 Adventure. Have owned many KTMs including the last year Duke II.

I like the SD, a lot. My only concern is wind protection, or lack thereof. Is anyone making an aftermarket screen to offer some protection?

Any concerns on the 07 model? I know my 05 Adventure had quite a few "fixes" on it from previous year problems.

What's the problem with the wind? Is it very high speed only? How is the problem manifesting itself?

Agreed, the shape of the 'mask' pushes the wind over your head (depending on size) and it really isn't a problem unless you're going 'silly speeds'

I find myself having to tuck down race stylie over about 115mph, other than that I don't really have a problem......and I'm a big focker!
