#3KTM are building them in April, they are building a lot more than last year, no longer a limited run, but better still the 2008 is a better spec bike, so they will be available April Europe, May USA

I think they are still pretty 'limited' here in the UK, my dealer ordered 3 'R's', he has been told he will only get one for the whole year, which is sad
The good news is it has my name on it
I went for the R version because this years has the same engine spec as they are using in the Superduke 'Battle' race series, I believe they have altered the rods/pistons/heads and cams and they give approx 130 bhp

#8Nail on the head. It was NEVER advertised, sold or implied it was a limited edition bike. Who gave you that impression Sabre, your dealer???
To bring in only 100 models into the UK in 07 did make the bike fairly exclusive but as has been explained, being a specialist bike in a niche market, it was never gonna sell in the thousands.
KTM did what any other manufacturer would do, test the water and react to the feedback.
