Real quick info:
SuperDuke R is coming to states. Improvements over last year: 10HP boost in power to 128HP. Ti intake valves, Akra designed exhaust (this stuff is only on the R model)
690 enduro model (based on Baja, not exactly the same...Baja "Kit", power up, will be available) Dry weight ~305; 64HP
690 SMC model of the 690 enduro will be available (as well as last years 690SM), 64HP; ~308lbs dry
690 Duke will be a new model (will come with white plastic, at least what I've seen), 65HP; ~327lbs dry
NO 690 ADVENTURE MODEL for '08
SuperDuke will come in orange, black and white
RC8 will be an '08 for Europe and '09 for states; info on the RC8 is prelem.... weight mentioned was ~396lbs (I would assume wet, ready for fuel) with 150+HP. There is no RC8 racebike being developed as of last week (and no plans to start soon). Plans still are up in the air a bit on the racing. Probably AMA first but only a 50/50 chance for -09 and 100% for 2010. There is still a chance they will do German superbike or British superbike first...but...plans as of now are AMA first (I got this info from a VERY reliable source, Mr. K.N. and he did say the bike is beautiful, course, he is biased...did see a quick side shot with KTM graphics and it was sharp). They will first have to develop the racebike to the 200-210 HP range to be competitive against Suz and co.
950SM - they said no '08 model as of this time as they are "doing some things" to the bike...more info at the street bike introduction around Feb. time frame. I would assume a redesign of some sort...what? no one would say.
They are developing a slipper clutch for the LC8.
By the way...I'm looking at the dealer poster which has pictures of the white SD and white 690 Duke as well as conceptional pics of the 690 enduro, 690 SMC. I climbed all over a 690 Baja and spoke at length with Pearson and his mechanic Turner on the 690 baja development.
Last thing...I did speak with KTM tech on the ECU. According to KTM tech, disconnecting the battery does not clear out the memory. You must do an ECU reset with the computer. Don't shoot me, thats what KTM tech told me directly to a very direct question on the subject.
