#2As much as you can get, I guess - 50-75% rrp? Except 10% only for the loom 'cos I'm looking for one.........
Post 3 by Superdan,
#3Around £500-600 I think as whole unit, maybe more seperately. Your only looking about 7bhp gain.

#6I think seperately they could be worth more, I have never seen a broken SDR on ebay so your reaching uncharted terratory, could be worth more clearly a guestamate for the BHP return.

#7I'll get in there with the first offer then

#11Are you now talking about the bike as a whole or just the parts listed in your thread title?

#14From bits and bobs on ebay I have seen over years that are easy to sell:
Wheels with discs £450-500
Single seat unit £3-400
Clocks £1-150
Headlight unit and lights £100
Forks £4-500
SDR shock £70-100
Tank £150
Swingarm £50-£100
Yokes £50
Plastics (all) £100
Headers £150
Calipers £70-120
Throttle bodies £150-200
Slipper clutch £350
Others bits say £500
Engine well depends if you broke it up really
Exhaust (scrap value for oem)
Frame and V5 ???
Dont know if you have any other bling.
Ebay fees will kill you TBH.
I think you should whip engine out and get it done by a non KTM dealer but someone who knows KTM's well and get that gearbox sorted.

#16I think what superdan is saying is the best solution, maybe it feels like throwing more good money away but with the bike painted the way it is and the engine bust it realy cuts down on what you will get,
Post 17 by Silverback,
#17Personally, I would rebuild the gearbox properly and sell complete - it's not complex and should not be costly to do, particularly if you do it yourself - breaking what could/should be a perfectly good m'cycle (particularly an SDR) just doesn't feel right to me - but you'll make more money selling it in bits to those like me if you can handle the tearing apart, haggling, hassling, time wasters, etc.

#18+1 I think if you took it apart yourself you could take the bottom end to a KTM dealer (think you need a special tool to break engine in half) get em to fix gearbox the main money would be cost of labour do dis-and-reassemble as im sure your well aware.

#19Thanks for the advice guys, but cant really afford to spend money on it right at this minute as saving up for another bike purchase.
Just thought this was a way of releasing some or alot of cash from the bike to go towards the new bike.
