Final Dyno runs in a very hot environment with the bike also very hot (no cooling fan) gave 126.66bhp (corrected) at the rear wheel and 76ft/lb of torque.
This is with my 'new' Akra evo stainless steel system and the newly modified version of the airbox (MKII)- I've removed the top altogether and am putting mesh over the trumpets to prevent small creatures and stones from being ingested. This means my SD is now making 10bhp more than with just the Akra cans and a 'MKI' modified airbox (a panel cut out of the top and an additional K&N filer added) which is very nice.
I now need to lay my hands on a TuneECU cable so I can increase the rev limit by 1,000 rpm and change the advance at high revs just like fuel's bike which should liberate another 2-4bhp. Can anyone tell me how to lay my hands on a cable including how you use one if you have a laptop that doesn't have a serial port!
Next up: high lift cams from Tornado. If I can get to over 130bhp at the rear wheel on Kev's dyno (it reads about 8% down against a Dynojet dyno) I shall be a very happy bunny indeed.
