126bhp at the rear wheel with Akra Evo system

2005 KTM SD with gas flowed heads.

Final Dyno runs in a very hot environment with the bike also very hot (no cooling fan) gave 126.66bhp (corrected) at the rear wheel and 76ft/lb of torque.
This is with my 'new' Akra evo stainless steel system and the newly modified version of the airbox (MKII)- I've removed the top altogether and am putting mesh over the trumpets to prevent small creatures and stones from being ingested. This means my SD is now making 10bhp more than with just the Akra cans and a 'MKI' modified airbox (a panel cut out of the top and an additional K&N filer added) which is very nice.

I now need to lay my hands on a TuneECU cable so I can increase the rev limit by 1,000 rpm and change the advance at high revs just like fuel's bike which should liberate another 2-4bhp. Can anyone tell me how to lay my hands on a cable including how you use one if you have a laptop that doesn't have a serial port!

Next up: high lift cams from Tornado. If I can get to over 130bhp at the rear wheel on Kev's dyno (it reads about 8% down against a Dynojet dyno) I shall be a very happy bunny indeed.

130 from a 05v SD would be awesome!
We only thought of contacting Nigel when I was leaving.
The reason I want to get a cable is just as a favour for Kev: he wants one so he can do the TuneECU stuff.

Well i have 1 aswell if im closer to you mate. (i now no mine works correctly as ive just had Vista connected with the bike running for around 20mins )

Or buy the parts and make your own for £25!

Not sure I would be wanting to sit on top of that engine when it does 10600rpm once too often!
This was a while back, we settled on 10k in the end!

dave has since found out his heads are standard, hes currently fitting modified cams and planning on proper headwork and modified pistons come winter
Fitted the hot cams and power dropped by 5bhp!
We're going to refit the standard cams as soon as Kev is back from his holidays.
I shall gas flow the heads and add hi comp pistons this autumn. Tornado are getting serious power from their grass track motors with this mod: minimum 15bhp lift they even have one with over 20 additional bhp. If it makes 135 - 140 that will be fantastic; any more would just be a bonus.

Rev limit is set at 10,250 (real) right now and power is still increasing right up to the rev limiter. May well lift it to 10,500 once I've had the engine apart this winter.
