It's been awhile since I have been here. I bought a 1290 Super Duke in 2014 and loved the bike. I had some stuff going on and ended up selling it. I have missed the bike! I am getting my 13 year old son a 390 Duke for his birthday and I am thinking about another 1290 for myself.
I can get a good deal on a new 2015 but for $1600 more I can get a new 2016. I am leaning toward the 2016. Have there been any changes? I need to know if the 2016 is as good or better than my 2014. I know some manufactures detune their stuff when they find out it is fast. The 2016 has the same power and everything as the 2014 correct? I am a wheelie guy and loved all the power doing throttle wheelies at 80mph
