1290 akro exhaust kit how good?

Well, for you guys that have done the Akro full exhaust race kit is it really worth it? I like the look of the black factory pipe but would like more power. Does the Akro setup make a huge difference? If it does not make it a lot faster it is not worth it for me. I put a Brocks on my Hayabusa with a power commander. Looked and sounded great but I couldn't really feel a difference. I am wanting to hear from the guys that have done the exhaust.

Worth every penny. Properly woke the bike up IMO, engine breathes so much better and is much happier to rev.

When you DECAT and re-map the bike, makes a huge difference. You will feel it. The Akra system doesn't do it for me though, quality product, makes good power and if you like the looks then go for it. The headers are beautiful but I don't like the sound, think its too quiet, doesn't look like the prototype and the bike with it lacks personality and is a bit boring if you ask me. But that's because I run an Austin Racing GP1 and the thing is savage.

Funny you say its quiet, I thought the same thing at first, but after a few good rides...........It`s loud now.

DMacL, your mpg is right on the average for my "fast and slow" tanks which makes sense and looks consistent with my figures. Thanks for posting.
