1290 MOTY

I just received my October issue of Motorcyclist and the 1290 has won their MOTY. So that and a $5 will get u a cup of coffee at Starbucks.

yeay!

Cool and I am sure it is well deserved. The 990 won the award in 2007. I'm pretty sure you can find many a 1290 SD in the Starbuck's parking lot with many of the owners holding a seven dollar cup and waxing ad infinitum about their new dongles and hubs.

That makes two for what it's worth. motorcycle.com also awarded the 1290 SD bike of the year along with best "Hooligan/Streetfighter". They went on to say it's one of the best bikes they've ever tested period. Of course, I still have yet to even test ride the new 1290!
