Has anyone seen the Sport Mode indicator blink? Mine was blinking for about a minute or so, eventually switching back to Street Mode. This happened while the bike was in motion. Should I be concerned about this condition?

This is just a guess on my part, but I believe that is an indication of a problem with the sport mode. I am having my fuel sending unit(which will be the whole fuel pump) replaced and the fuel indicator with the bars will occasionally flash for about a minute or so. It has only done it a few times even though my fuel gauge is no longer accurate. I'm waiting on the fuel pump to come in which is on its second backorder date, but was told that ktm suggested that the software version be checked to see if it has recieved an update or not. If it hasn't they will download the update first and if that doesn't solve the issue, they will replace the fuel pump. Why my fuel gauge would work just fine for a while on a "faulty" software program, then stop working accurately, is beyond me. But it could be something as simple for you and me as a software update. So I would be suspicious of the flashing sport icon, which I believe is an indication of an issue. Plus I've never seen my dash do the same, so....
I have had an ongoing issue whith MTC and ABS failing from new (dealer is really slow to get it sorted) but when it does fail the SPORT indicator blinks and it cant be changed out of that mode.
It will continue to blink until the motor is shut down and everything reset.
Not really sure what it meant to indicate though.
Wouldn't be a SD unless something blinked..

I'll be paying a visit to the dealer next weekend for them to check the bike out. Hopefully, the Texas weather will cooperate.

When did this started? If the dealer did a software update and it started after that they made an error in the procedure.
