Had the bike serviced last month and the oil light problem was the short on the metal clamp on the radiator hose. All good.
Bike is running beautifully. The engine is starting to loosen up and rev a little easier. A couple of little benchmark road crests that I can urge my other bikes to raise their skirts are treated with contempt with the SDR. She raises her skirts too easily - bit of a slut methinks .
Still waiting for my Ventura racks. Only two weeks till we head south to the first round of the World Supers. Also trying to find a solution for the seat. It's just what I want for teh twisties but when on the transport long boring stuff, it becomes bloody painful. I've bought a big fluffy lambswool seat cover and providing I don't run into any other SD owners, I can live with what that looks like. Alos experimented with a mates AirHawk air bladder underneath which is ok when cruising but less confidence inspiring when in the twisties.
