I have a 2006 race bike and a new 2008 R. The race bike had the comfy standard seat on and the R the not so comfy R seat. Seemed obvious to me to swap them over.
Not much of a job and for each bike you need everything from the tank backwards. An easy job and took around 40mins for each bike.
Only thing I had to do was solder a couple of wires for the rear light plug as they were different. I think if you got the stock 08 rear light the plugs would be the same.
