hi all,its time for the 1st service on my SD and i wondered how much prices vary at different dealers,how much should i expect to pay?

#4I'm just playing. I really don't know. Basically it's just an oil change, which you could do yourself. Your valves shouldn't need adjusting.

#5Depends on whether you want the valves done - Leisuretrail did my 600 miles service including valves and where going to charge me £160 before I reminded them they had agreed to inlcude it as part of the bike purchase

but they reduced it from £160 to £129.
this also includes a valve clearance check.
Shop around you might get it cheaper during winter-time!

#7I paid just over £320, including valve clearances. All the quotes I got were about the same.
