I've seen a few posts stating that KTM no longer requires the 600m valve adjustment.
Is this correct? Does anyone have a copy of the update bulletin?

I know my dealer did because they didn't put the cam cover gasket back on properly and it leaked ! !

#6I had it done, the valve check that is. The valves were within tolerance, but the hardening had delaminated from the cam lobes, and the edges of the valve buckets had crystalline fractures with pieces missing. So, I got a new set of cams and buckets as part of the first service. Not sure what it might have looked like, or if it would have made it 5000 mi.
Here is one of the cams with less than 600 miles on the clock:

Sorry for the crappy pics. They were taken on my i-phone with poor lighting an no flash. The buckets looked much worse in person. The white areas on the edges of the buckets were sharp and crystallized. I'd guess the buckets failed first and abraded the hardening from the cams.
