Just had my 9000 mile service done at a cost of £511.00 ,but they somehow have managed to put some scratches on my speedo perspex which I did not notice until I had ridden a couple of miles. They fixed a slight air leak on an exhaust gasket, (which made a lovely pop and bang when I opened the throttle and then quickly shut it off),and I will miss that naughty noise.
I will try some Brasso on the clock face to see if it gets rid of the scratches before I give them a bollocking

I would be bollocking them about the £511 - way too much even including any exhaust seal.
Yeah £500 seems a lot, my 9000 was around £300 definatly not over £350.

Go to the Auto shop and get Plast X its for cleaning clear plastic. Its a polish also If you use anything else you might make it worse.
