A fair price for SDR 990 with mods?

Hello, wondered if one you informed Superdukers could help?

I'm dead set on a 2008 SDR with Akra pipes and a few trinkets but not sure on the price. It's done 12K and has partial history (no valve check that I can see) but is very very clean. Would you say £5.5k is too steep?

Much appreciated!
Dealer or private?

I think I paid slightly over the odds with £6k for a private sale '08 SDR, Evo Akras and touring screen as the only mods, but only 4k miles.

If I was looking for a third '08 SDR, albeit not having seen it, I'd go for it - it's only money after all, and the '08 SDR is the best of the bunch.........cue pre-'07 SD junkies' response.
PS - that's assuming it's a full fat '08 SDR and not a late registered '07 SDR.
Cheers for the reply No.47, it is indeed a full fat SDR. It's from a dealer and has had several problems already, fortunately he stood up and dealt with them but it's left doubts as to the reliability of this particular one.

So it seems that £5.5K is a good price?
Really can't answer that without seeing it, knowing what the problems have been, etc and bottom line is that it's your money, not mine - for me, every KTM I've had, and probably will have, new or used, had, has or will have problems - so no help, really......
If it's been electrical or really anything other than serious mechanical issues I'd do it.

Lot's of people get discouraged with electrical and hand it to a dealer to spend several hours troubleshooting when it's normally a few switches/relays, the BCG or a reg/rec/bad battery.
