Nice! Latigo is one of my favorites!
Yeah Lowrance, if you have it, post up some of the places where you are kissing the mountain on the way up Latigo.

I road out to the 33 to meet Oafboy and his crew yesterday. On my way down Grimes Canyon, I could see places where a truck kissed the hill several times trying to get stopped. He must have lost his brakes. Scary stuff.

I never made it up the 33 though, two young 'uns crashed right in front of me on one of the decreasing radius turns near the bottom, so I stopped to help them. Happy to say there were no serious physical injuries, but one bike ended up over the hill, and the other got a dinged frame.
Post more! Here the weather is crap, still waiting for the salt to dissapear and the temps to rise.
Very nice vid, and looks like a very nice place to ride as well. No single piece of straight road in that vid. I wish we had roads like that.
Also nice that you didn't ruin the vid with loud music, just the roar of the ktm and a little wind. As it should be!
Here is the second installment. I'll let Klinck work his majic as I've got to get back to work.

30 min to upload 3 min worth of footage....PITA.

Cool video, thanks for sharing!

This question is a little off topic but what make and type are your mirrors? I'm looking for something to replace my stockers and those look quite nice.

Thanks,

Sean
Nice bit of film It makes my adrenaline start flowing. Yeah.... you just want to hook it up into the next gear but have to shut off for the next bend, but you can FEEL the power coming in like no other vid I've seen of the SD. Well done mate. This is the video clip I will be showing my work mates tomorrow to try and explain what it's like to hammer the SD round good roads. Captured it as good as it's possible to do I think. Respect.

Nice vid dude chest mount really does offer a good view. Great riding too! Those roads look perfect for the SD.
Good video's !!! nice little power wheelie after the turn. I thought that road would have crap all over it right now.
Yep, they're Rizoma's. They look good but the view to the rear is not as good as the stockers. Having sadi that they do not vibrate at all. Added some of those $8 Chinese extensions and they definitely helped.

Road was pretty clean for the most part. Definitely some spots you hve to keep your wits about you.

Alright, will start working on the third installment.

Will borrow a cam for our track day in April and post that video up as well. Should be good.

Oh, no clutch abuse was comitted during the filming of these vids. Front comes up without any help at the second and third gear corner exits.
Lowrance,

Great videos

Do you have a slipper clutch fitted?

If I get a Scott's Damper will that allow me to pull wheelies DOWN HILL on Latigo Canyon?

Big balls riding like that, fantastic to watch!
Hey Ken,

No slipper. Not really needed with proper clutch manegement (including matching engine and road speed on downshifts). Don't think the damper is going to help much when the front wheel is in the air...

And NO, I didn't photoshop my tach needle to redline!
Very Hamdy throttle blip and clutch work.

When I get the balls to pull wheelies downhill at Latigo I wont need to 'enhance' anything

Glad you figured out how to post them!
Yep, thanks for the help.
Thanks John
Awesome vids..
I see them as teaching clips...
You make it look smooth and easy bro..
Thanks for the free lessons.!!!
See ya at Chuckwalla.
Hey John I will have 2 go pro"s in april I just got back from the Indy dealer show.
It was insane everybody was there.

Go pro had a huge booth and were selling the new hero for real cheap so I bought one. I have the old one too.
the handle bar mount works great shows the speed and whats up in front. Call me maybe we can work something out since you riding in another group.

I still have not figured out how I am going to mount the camera on the RC8 I might just have the chest mount.
Don't know where else to mount it.

Vic
Hey dude, hope you don't mind but I'm going to post these vids in the Vids thread. Def worthy of it.
