#14You know what it's sending you away on 125s that helped end my relationship with Brackens. Also the feeling like they were doing you a favour by taking your money. Why the hell they can't let you take a demo bike away is beyond me At least with KTM Centre you can take any bike they have if its not booked on a demo. RC8, SDR, Adventure, SMR, although not managed the RC8R yet

#15I went flying into Elephant and Castle roundabout this morning thinking I'd stick my boot out supermoto stylee in homage to my LC4 days, (used to do this roundabout every day on way to work and really lean the bike over and weave through the potholes). But had to break hard for a lane changing cab and you know what - the suspension really does squeek! And the brakes are wooden! You must know this bike well No.47
We'll see what Brakens have done to the SD. I feel a bit loyal to them,they did a good deal on my LC4 in 2000 and I've always used them, they've been through a hard time last year - they are down to just two mechanics now. and they run these race series - you can't deny they are passionate about the KTM/race thing.

#16I've only once ever been offered a loan bike while my bike has been in the dealers, it was an er6n and it was so uncomfortable, my arms felt twisted at the wrong angle, I was happier walking back from the dealers.

Bracken lost running the SDR/RC8 race series to KTM UK 'cos the latter realised after two series how good it was for KTM, muscled in and fcuked it up.

Paul at Bracken told me they lost a bundle doing the KTM Superduke racing. I've used them for almost all of my servicing, it's not been a perfect relationship but it's done me well.
I've never used that 125 PoS they offer largely cos the insurance excess on ANY demo bike or loan bike makes the bus look very attractive! I just leave my gear there for the day, go to work then pick it up on teh way home.
