Added Some Parts, Took Some Pictures, I Loves Me Some SD!

I added a lot of parts, I finally wrung her neck a little. Nice power, glorious noise and wheelies like a V-Twin should. I am pretty sure I love the girl long term now. Woo Hoo!

I installed the Moto Hooligan airbox, Yoshimura RS-3 slip ons, Pilot Powers, and the PCIII usb. I have one more CF part coming, we will let it be a surprise. Without further delay, here are the pics, click for big un's

Nope it isn't a gel seat, I did pull the ugly strap off, as no one will ride on the back, I guess I need an R seat set up.

As to the chain, it is adjusted to spec. I had wondered if it was a bit tight. I had a lot of TL's and they needed a looser chain to let the suspension operate properly. Got any advice as to where to set it?

The rear tyre is a Pilot Power 180/55 ZR17, same as the Dunslop that was on it. Really turns well with the new skins. I am loving the bike.

I thought of having a set of track day slicks for fun, but I am tapped for motorcycle cash for a couple of months.

I have the KTM seat cover coming, and plan to look at the tail a bit, but I don't hate it and I have to have all that crap on the back to avoid unnecessary traffic harassment here.

The Pilot Powers are great, that is what mine wears.
Seem very predictable so far and ride is not bad.

I think you'll find that your chain is not too tight. If you look at the angle of the swing arm, you'll see that it is very shallow (front sprocket, swing arm pivot point and axel close to being in line).

If you were to pull your shock and move swingarm through it range of travel the chain should have just a little slack when all three are lined up. Bikes with more swing arm angle require momre chain slack to achieve the same thing.

If you were to run much more slack I think you'd find that the chain would start making contact with the swing arm. Don't ask me how I know this.
