Carbon fiber front mudguard
I keep looking on the dreaded bay and seeing C/F front mudguards. I know they are a cheap asian knock off of the Akro ones, but has anyone bought one to see what the quality is like? My bike already has CF headlight cowl so I do think this would look nice if the quality is OK

Stompgrip

I can get what it does but is it one of those products I should feel the need for before I buy, or is it a case of "you'd never realise how good it is until you try it"
well mines a knock off from the states and no problems with fit and looks awsome....

You dont need stomp grip and it can fook your leathers over time aswell....as long as you hook your knee in to the tank you can still hang off no probs...
As an alternative viewpoint to BUZZ, I just fitted Stompgrips in December and really like them - surprised at how much better it makes braking and stops all your weight going onto your arms. I've had to change my habit a bit about squeezing with my knees when braking hard but if you do then it makes a huge difference and lets your arms be more free and relaxed for steering and stuff.

Not been on track yet this year but I reckon they might well add something to the hanging off technique, give grip to the outside leg as you hang off the inside.

Why do so many track day bikes and pukka racers use them?

Personally I like the look of them as well but that's just my opinion. ( I grew up with British bikes like Triumphs and BSAs so rubber tank pads were the norm!!

Be carefull as I think the mudguards are for the 2007 on models.
mines 2006 and fits perfect,if you want the seller off ebay i'll put a link to his shop...thats if your bike is a 05/06..????
I didn't like the Stompgripz on my bro's GSXR so I had some custom pads made up by techspec - they are fantastic! I'm sure they still have my templates.

Belly pan sounds good, want to see it, this week for me its an exhaust system , and levers, as I just recieved my TAX refund, split with wifey, had to buy her this HAL 5000 computer system, and the more I think of it next, may be Go-Go's triple clamp and shock set up, friken thing is nice! can't think of a better more sensable mod for the S.D. , as for exhaust , question is to carbon or not to carbon Yoshi or MIVV
