air blast

This is the first bike I've owned without a front fairing and I'm having a hard time getting used to the air blast when riding any faster than 75 MPH. It feels like I'm going 100+ on my RC51. I even purchased the KTM touring screen. (I know it looks terrible)

Is anyone else adjusting to life without a fairing? How long did it take you guys to get used to it?
Try leaning foreward more, and/or tucking in closer to the tank. I don't spend too much time riding on the highway, so for me it's not that big a deal. I also insalled a throttle lock so I can give my right hand a rest when on the h'way.
Been riding nakeds for years. It does not seem breezy until over 110 mph.
Don't worry, just enjoy it. You're building new muscles!
P.S. I have the touring screen too!
It's excellent at keeping the bugs off my tank bag.

This is my first naked bike and the wind blast is what makes the bike better.

i want 100mph to feel fast... i want 130mph to feel INSANE !!!!

i don't wanna be sitting at 145mph thinking "this is effortless".

It's the best thing about naked bikes - Over 75mph feels fast, so you don;t ride everywhere at 100mph without realising - like you might on a fully faired sports bikes.

The helmet you wear makes as much difference than the screen to high speed comforrt, and if you don't like the looks of the KTM screen try the Skidmarx one.
