Does anyone know where you can get these slip-ons? They look like the Akara cans you can get for the Duke and they just added the slash cut/conical ends. I know akra has cans like that for the 2005 R1 with the same tips. Does anyone have the Akara oval cans on there Duke? If so could you give deminsions of the cans to see if the R1 ends will fit these cans.

Sorry, I got no info, but i know i'll forget to look back at this post,
so i'm replying to get in on the info when some clever ass comes up with it.

These are what i've been waiting for. The stock cans just look so good, that the standard akra's look like some parts-bin special to me.

These things look like they were actually made for the SD rather than just random ktm's.

I'm counting my pocket money ready for these babies!

[quote="Millar"]No the caps won't fit as the can is a different shape.

The pics above are likely to be from someone who has adapted R1 cans to fit. I the same way I adapted a set of ZX10 carbon Akras to fit my SD.[/quote

Post pics please

I've been so inspired by the picture of the SD with R1 Akra cans that I've just bought stock 2006 R1 cans and Y-piece cheap off ebay to experiment with . I will try and graft them onto my SD this winter. Although the cans are stock R1 and don't look as nice as the R1 Akras, they give next to nothing away on power and are only slighter heavier at 4kg for the pair, ie about 7kg lighter than the stock SD silencer!. Just back from the dyno to test the latest mods (modified heads, TBs & airbox) and figured a better exhaust might further improve power. Obviously a full Akra system would be the way to go but I don't like the price or looks of it!. The stock R1 cans are good enough to flow around 160rwhp worth of exhaust gases so should be good enough for my 125rwhp SD!. Watch this space for progress and dyno results
