Akra Map?

I have a '07 SD and it is in for the 600 mile service. It has the Akra slip-ons with carbon fiber tips. I think mine is the first one my dealer has sold and serviced. I've read a few posts on this forum that indicate there might be an "Akra Map" for the slip-on configuration, although I'm not sure, as some people may have the full Akra system. My dealer tells me there isn't another map availblbe from KTM. My question is - is there a map for my bike's configuration and if there is were does my dealer get it?
Have him call KTM usa and order the flash tool, his cost is $800
No US dealers have them yet but they are coming.
My dealer received his two week ago. I'm going to flash mine this week.

Chaps, had the Akra map uploaded today and picking the bike back up tomorrow.

One quick question, is there anything different that comes up on the dash or LCD panel that indicates its on this map ?

Just so i know its been done correctly
None whatsoever!
If your SAS is removed and you do not see an error code (and provided you aren't using a resistor to fool the ECU that the SAS is present) that is an indicator that the Akra map is loaded.

Nope. The ECU doesn't expect to see anything from the SAS once the map is uploaded. Remove the resistor, if no warning comes up then 99% safe to assume Akra map is installed.

I'd imagine the difference in performance will give it away too.

I have just had the Akra map installed and it now stays in Sport mode unless you change it. BONUS
You will definitely feel the difference I can promise you that
