I don't know if you misread my post or something but what you just said is precisely what I was saying.

You don't need to know how to bypass the alarm in the way a thief would which is what Big Ash was referring to because what you are trying to fix does not involve trying to break into the bike.

All you need to do is to be able to disable the alarm when it is not functioning correctly and to do this you need the blanking plug which can be ordered from KTM if you don't have it.
