Another SD stolen.

Posting this on behalf of a mate.

Orange Superduke stolen from Wharf Road, London N1 last Tues (March 22nd).

Bike is a 2006 model, ex-race battle-bike with distinctive race number 33 on the seat...reg KX57 BPF....Termis, rear sets and usual battle extras.

A neighbour saw it happen, two twats on a scooter with two 'spotters'. Angle-grinder to the chain and lock, then rode away as the police were arriving.

Any info or anyone offered cheap parts, please let us know.

seen commuting down brixton high st on the way to the tube at about 8.45-9 am in the mornings? but also going down acre lane in the w/e?
looked like an 06/7 orange model with battle mods, dont recall an obvious race no though.

What is it about Lahndaaan, that makes it so full of light fingered, thieving scum? I mean I know you get scroats everywhere, but London seems overrun with them. I really wonder if its because if you get caught, you might face half an hours community service if you're unlucky.
Seriously we should take a leaf out of the Saudi's book and chop their feckin' hands off. Like to see them nick any more bikes after that. Actually I'd like to seem 'em ride one after that....

I see the reason why as there is no material consequence for the robbers. This is the new labour grown state that fines you more for a parking ticket than carrying a deadly weapon with intent.

They probably just insirted a screw in the ignition and then ripped it out with the lock workings with it, they are soft as butter. Insert a screw drive, turn and off you go.. unless of course you have a alarm. I know this as I watch a little fooker do it to mine The alarm went and they jumped on scooters and rode off as I was legging it over to hopefully land one on the thieving little shite. An alarm won't stop pro thieves with a van but it will stop most thieving kids. Its put off kids trying to nick mine on about 10 occasions that I know of.

I've never left my sd in a public parking space in London in the year I've had it. I used to leave the XT660 everywhere.
It's sad, we should be able to leave our bikes without worrying, but we can't.
I don't usually endorse capital punishment, but I make exceptions for thieves and vandals.

Mine got knicked, but I knicked it back. you would think the flashing alarm would put them off but did nicely immobilised the engine. my mate found the bike down the back of a pikey estate, so took some incidental utility objects and got it back. the thieves were very clean and tidy n had a nice little pile of parts that the shop put back on for me, + 1 new lockset.
