I ride a '09 200 XCW 2smoke and my son rides a '08 105sx 2smoke
I ride mainly the trails and he rides both track and trails. It's a good thing to have in the off season. Riding all year round works conditioning wise for me, however once you jump back on your SD after a good long winter worth of riding count how many times you put your foot down on the road to take corners.

I only ride dirt. 2007 SE950R with an SDR 990 mill in it... perfect woods/trail bike.

I sold this a couple years ago now. Got a txt from a mate last week, said he saw the bike around town. It looked a bit (more) ragged, but was still doin wheelies everywhere, lol.
Never had any problems with it. Bike was rock solid. Build quality was fantastic, bike was punchy and very torquey, and maintenance wasnt any where near as bad as I was expecting. Suspension wasnt on par with my CRF, but it definately did the job.
From what Ive read, the old gen RFS motors (as pictured) were a bit more reliable than the RC4/XC4/RF4 (2008+ I think?) generation. Ive seen heaps of peeps put a rebuilt RFS motor into their newer frame after their engine blew up, but I cant comment on that from experience.

However, Ive laid down a deposit on a new sx 350, cant wait to get my hands on it

I ride a 2008 300XC. I have owned nearly all KTM offroad bikes and this one is the bomb. I guess if I weighed 150lbs and was 20 again I'd go for the 200...but at 6'2" and 220lbs it's a big bore for me. Until you have tried the 300 you just haven't lived. It's referred to as a 3-stroke...for good reason...all the best of 4 stroke and 2 stroke benefits rolled into one bike. But it is not street legal. For that you must go to the 4 stroke EXC's...that is if you don't mind a heavy bike. I'll take the 3-hunny all day long!

Here's my 540exc. I sold it to get the SD. I'll get another in a year or two.

I also own a 06 525XC and love it. Since I got it it has had more time on it than my SD.
