Any winter projects?

So for us in the Northern hemesphere Winter is closing in soon, my duke will be hibernating for the winter as riding in the cold is no fun for me (how could you put your duke through a salty winter ) I bought an off roader last year to get my "winter fix" but sold it to buy the duke, so need something to get my fix even if it is tinkering and I cant afford another offroader as my winter substitute (the girlfiend, as lovely as she is) has me paying for a trip to New York.

Anyway im thinking of doing some winter project with my duke it may be getting my swingarm powder coated or my wheels likewise (tempted with white thoughts?? ), looking to fit some crash bungs and maybe a DNA filter too.

So this post is really what mods are you planning to do?
The PCIII will be fitted as soon as it gets here, and I've got a gear indicator on the shelf in the garage thats doing nothing, so that might get fitted as well. I'm not happy with the paddock stand bobbins so will 'machine' those down a little smaller so they fit better, and I intend to buy a Harris stand at the NEC in November.

I want to refit the exhaust cans using silicon sealant as they're blowing very very slightly and I'm not happy with the fit of the tail tidy so I'll attempt to sort that out as well while the cans are off. I reckon I'll investigate LED bulbs for the taillight as well as some riding buddies have said it's not very bright as it is.

I'm still hoping to get out for a while yet though, probably just laying up for January and February.

The SD R rear light is specific to the SD R and won't fit the standard bike. It comes with the solo kit and It's quite a nice shape with LEDs, but I can't see any way you could make it fit the standard SD. BTW, the solo kit is the same kit that is fitted to the SD R, with exception to the rear section which comes unpainted on the kit, It's not an aftermarket KTM part that has been made to look like it. There are two different part numbers though, one for '05/'06 bikes and one for '07. The difference is in the internal tray where the fuses and relays sit, apparently they are different on the '07, but that's the only difference between the two kits.
