#3I had a look at one last week when in paying for my new SD.
Although I'm not a fan of Ducati (at all) it did look FANTASTIC.
It looks better in the flesh, so to speak, than the x hundred pages in the latest Bike magazine.
Ducati have hit on a winner. But, the resale values of 999's must be about to hit the floor.
I'd still have an SD any day.

#4No real interest for me. Styling looks like a copy from the R1. I'm sure it's a great bike and Ducati will sell many of them (especially with the price cut over the 999). But I'll be keeping my SD for a while yet.
Now if Aprilia ever manage to put the V4 into the Tuono....

#5I think it's a mad sexy bike, but didn't Triumph build it first with the 675? Anyway, the SD is much better looking in a hooligan way. I'm sending in my deposit this week for the 07'. Hopefully I can sell my 950SM in time.

#8I´m keeping mine, had it for two years now and only likes it more and more. Might consider the RC8 though!

#9I think it looks amazing - nicer even than the 916... but would have to try one out to see if it's worth the extra cash and changing the SD for.
It's billed as a road bike not a track bike, so the comparison with the SD would be very interesting. Let's face it, it's a 2 wheeled Ferrari and I think anyone who says it's not a beautiful bike is lying.
The chances of me buying a Ferrari car are slim-to-none but £11.5k is more within sight.
But then again, I still love my KTM.
