Well done lads, nice to see the bikes bearing the load.

My bikes are low miles these days, just track use.

I did do 40K miles on my 916 though.
I bet every mile was a blast if i do half of the miles you have i will be a happy chap. Brilliant to see you are still loving the sd. Good luck dude with the next 40k and stay safe.

Nice to see some other hi-mileage SD's out there too

1st Chain was at 18,000 miles, second one gets changed this PM so that's done ~21,000 (it's well fecked)
Solonoid, last week
Fuel tank (carbon fibre) last week, I've got an orange tank on a black SD now, looks weird
Front wheel bearing, last year
Rear swing arm axle/spindle this PM (the KTM bobbin has caused the left chain spacer to crack?)
whole set of brake pads years ago
Battery (-) terminal cable @ 3 months old
Regulator, last year

rear tyres last ~2,000 miles so i've done nearly 20 of them I guess that's why I've started using the Michelin 2CT Pilot Roads, they go for ~ 4,000 miles and seem as grippy as anything else I've had

I've had the bike from new, an 05 model that I picked up in Jan' 06.

Only ever going to replace it with another SD, maybe the R though
