Perhaps I'm not the only one, hanging out in the garage, drinking beer, reveling n the Super Duke as a beautiful sculpture. Is it Modernist? Cubist? Its angular lines speak to me, purposeful and exciting. A major part of what draws me to a bike is its visceral appeal, the SD succeeds like none before it.

That, or I'm loaded
Cheers brother!

Are you drunk?

I was too ashamed to say, but you've outed me, I - most times, after riding, when I park up, I just stand and look at my bike for a minute or 2 because it looks so pretty.
Funny this topic should come up now. I've only had the SD a couple of months and Being a shift worker, only ride on week days normally.

As it's been raining a fair bit here lately, I haven't gone out. Saturday was fine and I wasn't working so I was off like a shot.

Stopped for lunch at a cafe in Canungra where all the weekend riders usually stop, and I couldn't believe the amount of guys stopping
as they walked by ,to check out the SD, making comments to each other and even taking photos with their phones.

I've never had a bike that drew that sort of attention, and I was feeling pretty smug as I sat back finishing my pie.

I'm sure the sound of the Yoshis got a bit of attention as I left too.
The Super Duke is rare and exotic around here, most people have never even heard of it. KTM is well known among the motocross crowd, but few are familiar with their street offerings.
You are definitely not the only one that does it, brother. I will go out to the garage,'beer in hand, just to have a look.'

Also,'each & every time I park, while I'm pulling off my helmet, earplugs & gloves, I can't help but stare at it. In all honesty,'at times I just can't believe it's my bike. And I always, ALWAYS give her the over-the-shoulder lookback as I walk away.

Yeah, I'm smitten with it. It could be worse....
There's a few here in my neck of CT, actually hogan 11 on this site live close by, but I've never seen him out riding. There were a few up at Marcus Dairy last year, but I was the only regular. but yes, when I go out for a ride, I'll occasionally pull over for a break, and just bask it the SD's uniqueness!!
If beer does that to you wait till you have some wacky tabbaco and then stare at it
On the topic..
